An ambitious and endlessly inventive tale of rape and abuse, the effectiveness of which is lessened, for this reader by far too many over-long paragraphs. (In Part VI, there is a paragraph that must be 80-100 lines long). But that technical issue aside, if rough and raw sexual violence is your thing, this is your kind of story. (9/10)
