Have to say I'm not a fan of stories that don't have much build up. While I think the writing was good and the dialogue was entertaining to follow, it really didn't do it for me due to the lack of background. A few minor typing errors. A spell check does not do the whole job. Reread the stories before posting them and you may spot a few of the errors. I expect there will be more to come. Highly recommended to those who like to get down to the action straight away, but not my cup of tea personally. (7/10)

Much appreciated the start of "A Visit From Uncle", but Faith Fuller seems to pickup the pace as the story moves along -to the extent things are seriously rushed and come across as forced. Of course, there's only a couple of paragraphs here and maybe Faith got carried away in her urge to paint a clear picture in as little space as possible, so, I'll wait til there's more -if indeed there's more to follow. I'm sure Faith will surprise us in the future -when she takes her time to tell a tale- because the introduction we're being confronted with here shows lots of promise. Well written with some very good, enticing dialogue, "A Visit From Uncle" already shows us a glimpse of the talent lurking. Would have gone for a -temporary- seven, but upping a notch because of some of my buttons being treated overly nice. I hope Faith becomes a regular. JJ (8/10)
