This is a fine story, though it seems the author has moved on. Too bad. I was looking forward to more. I'll have to check back from time to time with my fingers crossed. I would really love to read more. (9/10)

Very enjoyable story, thank you. I particularly enjoyed the main character's introspection and felt like I was inside his mind. That helped make the story seem more realistic and immersive. (9/10)

I love this story. It's wonderfully written, with well drawn characters.
I like especially how much insight we get into the slave's thoughts - the writer doesn't shy away from the fact that genuinely submitting to this sort of 24/7 relationship would be a difficult thing, and the slave has a mental balancing act between nervousness and desire for much of the story - I know from personal experience that that can happen big time, even to the extent of destroying the relationship. And yes, such relationships can be on/off things, with people who mesh going their separate ways and them coming back together again later on. Another touch of realism that helps the story along.
Throwing Wendy into the mix was interesting, too. I find it quite plausible that she would "fall" for the slave the way she does - he's offering her nothing but support and acceptance without requiring sex from her in return, something she's probably sorely lacking in her line of work.
Where I did think it fell down a little was in the Mistress. There are plenty of stories with harsh, demanding women in them, and I actually like those kinds of characters in stories. Here, though, it felt a little out of place. The author gave us two realistic and well thought out characters in Wendy and Tim, and a realistic situation for them to be in - and then had this stereotypical fantasy Domme in the mix. You have to wonder why Tim wants to serve her so much - she's not the least supportive of him, does nothing to establish any level of trust. Indeed when he brings up his concerns she responds with curt replies followed by scorn and threats, then a demand that he be contrite for asking the questions that she just told him it was okay to ask!
I have to say, I was absolutely rooting for Tim to agree to Wendy's offer and ditch the Domme.
In fact, this could be turned very much to the story's advantage. We're left hanging at the end... can we hope that the intent is for a part two in which both Tim and Wendy must escape the clutches of their Mistress and find happiness together? There could be a real theme here about how even a D/s relationship needs to be founded in caring and respect and the fulfilment of mutual needs. If that happens, my score would definitely go up! (8/10)

A good start to an ongoing story with clear definition of the two charatcters.
I would have given this a higher rating but to me there is a very large flaw to the story. In the opening paragraph we are told that a years contract had run out and that Mistress had "been on the fence about making me full time". The same paragraph goes on to tell us how Mistress had a lesbian affair and appears to have almost dropped her male slave. Only when the affair breaks up does she decide to take the male on full time.
This story is about concensual slavery and in such slavery respect and trust play a very large part of the relationship (this should be a two-way thing). So how can a prospective 24/7 slave trust such a person? Will She always look after him? Will She suddenly decide that She really is into females and just dump him?
Then there is Her shouting at him for not making up his mind. I am afraid at that point I would be telling Her that I was not interested in a 24/7 relationship and respectfully did not want to continue the existing relationship.It is consensual after all.
Of course these are purely the thoughts of this submissive. (7/10)
