First of all, since I'm a nit-picking mood, a chronicle is usually an account or recording of an event.
Most of the time, the content of the chronicle that was put down, is fairly elaborate.
This here 'chronicle', is like a one-paged dictionary: way too short to be a chronicle.
Okay, so the story is well written and nicely paced and on top of that testifies of a decent dose of inventiveness, imagination and skill, but don't call it a 'chronicle' just because it sounds good.

This story captured me from the beginning, very succinct and well written. it seemed that so much more could have been written and explored. Please if you may, continue this in a new story or chapter. It would be wonderful if you did, leaves me wanting to read more! (9/10)

Fantastically Intense. The best short story I've read on here for ages. Excellently written and full of horrid suspense. I love it. (10/10)
