After having perused Danyealle's "Somewhere Between Heaven And Hell" (and found it to be a quite well written and interesting story --put on my shelf to read later because of its length) I was intrigued by this one having such a low 'score'.
Now, I don't know what happened but the introductory paragraphs are indeed something which at least seems to be rushed, if not for the holes in the narrative and the rather ludicrous mistakes, then for sure for the stuttering manner in which things are being presented.
But, hold on, as of the "Two Months Later" part, things settle down and the author seems to have found her muse again. Or at least, a small part of it. The writing becomes more assured, the story gets more body and the characters seem to expand to life-size beings.
Not a story that boggles the mind, but a good read nevertheless, bar the rather shaky --read 8 on the Richter scale-- start.

I started laughing when I read she graduated from high school at 10 -- as opposed to 18. Then when I got to her finishing her PhD at 17, I almost peed on myself from the giggles and I had to stop reading. I know this is fiction, but good grief, some parts of it should not be beyond the realm of belief! (5/10)
