Story was OK, lots of honest feeling. Writing needs some work: wrong words here and there, some smoothing of how the sentences read. (7/10)

I rate this high because it is pretty darn close to exactly what I think I'd feel in that situation described better than I could. I might rate it higher depending on later installments. (8/10)
