Sorry, but I disagree with Lex, a writer who I admire, this time. Sometimes a more gentle story can be a good read and this is one of them. This is a reason why I normally do not vote for a story until I have read more than the opening chapters. Please huury up with more of this. (9/10)

What has been posted to date reads very much like the synopsis. It reminds this reader of an old Peggy Lee song, "Is That All There Is?" Unfortunately what has been presented to date is not very original or interesting to be very candid. Your synopsis doesn't give me any hope that something of consequence will happen to our submissive heroine. Such people are generally a sniveling lot, incapable of carrying a good story. I will allow that the editing of your effort is very good and am happy to see that she has been given credit for her work. This reader will now take his leave still in pursuit of something lengthy that possesses a shred of novelty or originality. (5/10)

- I hate to disappoint you, but I never drink and write reviews. Sometimes I think it might be easier not to write reviews, but then I would be dishonest to myself. By the way all I've heard from you and the other member of your clique is that you are unhappy with my review. That's too damned bad! Next time you want to be critical, try refuting my arguments instead of whining like some spoiled child. Pass that along to the othe members of your marching and clam chowder bunch.
