Yes this story is rather cold and clinical, as already mentioned. But surely that is how such an auction would be (and probably is where they do take place). As number 9 wants desperately to be sold as a slave and this story is told from her view point then cold and clinical it is. It would be nice to find out what happens to her and if her new life lives up to her expections or not. (9/10)

As Engineer, I too found the story sometimes too distant feeling. But it still makes for some entertaining reading. JJ (8/10)

I very much liked the calm and psychologically oriented way of this story, and that proficiency instead of cruelty is applied by the author as well as the actors. However, the author has a tendency to complicate things. As the traders could significantly enhance the efficiency of their processes by slimming them, the narrative sometimes becomes too lengthy, to distracted from the plot. Generally, an erotic air is missing - everything is too businesslike, too silent. There are many seeds planted, from which interesting harvest could grow if the talented author would enhance and condense action. Finally, the story could profit from some proof-reading. (7/10)

Too much "Click Click Click", could have easily describe it in a sentence instead of the way it was written. It got in the way of reading a paragraph. Overall, the story is good. (8/10)

An interesting portion of enslavement story. It contains a lot of physical detail but seems to lack something. Perhaps it needs a little more background slipped in to make the main character's motivation rational, or more believable. Still it is a pleasant read and I assume there is more to come so the score can always rise. (8/10)

An interesting take on an old idea. I like more pain and torture, but this was good in delivering what the summary promised. (7/10)
