enjoyed the story not real kken on midevil times stories but it was well worth the read (7/10)

Although this story is very short (and the paragraphs are very long, too long)it contains a spark of realism that very few stories here have. The woman's emotions are well described, as are her husband's brutishness. The author has a very nice way with words -- but needs to work on organizing sentences so that one flows into the next more smoothly. With good sentence flow, paragraphing becomes very natural -- whereas here it is rather haphazard. But a very promising debut story. (8/10)

In story telling the reader usually awaits the unexpected. In "Medieval Marriage" the other shoe never drops. While well written, the story inexorably leads to no surprises... (7/10)
