Neat little story, succulently showing the interaction between an eager submissive and her tough -but fair- mistress.
A thing often dearly missed in most sub/domme stories is the caring people have for one another, in whatever relationship they're involved.
Kittenfemme shows that care through minute details; a musing here, a fluttering eyelid or the raise of a heartbeat there.
It's these little things which make "An Apology" stand out.

I enjoyed the psychological torment depicted here. D/s is much more than ropes and whips, as kittenfemme has ably demonstrated. I find myself wanting to read more. There are some rough edges to the writing, however, which detract slightly from the story. Overall, a good read with the potential to be an excellent read. (8/10)

This (psychological, heavily formalized) story is not my type at all, but the quality of the writingoverwhelms the subject matter '10' for style, '6' for content). Besides, anyone who can correctly use the word 'remanded' in a porn novel deserves at least an '8'. (8/10)
