Martha Manners, Wall Street shark, finds herself sentenced to an indeterminate stretch of hard time in a maximum security prison. She goes through a process that, in a strange way, dramatically changes her view of things. Martha is ably assisted in this voyage of self discovery by the prison warden and her former college chum, Judge Judith, who put Martha away. |

I enjoyed this tale for sure. It brings to mind a certain egotistical public figure in todays reality. LOL Although I do not grasp some aspects as a reality based story of course. I really did like the scenes and story line and am looking forward to reading more. (9/10)

- Your most generous review is greatly appreciated. Martha started out as just a lark, but has developed into a pretty complicated work with lots of characters, many of whom just happened to drop in out of the blue as the story went along. That's what makes writing so enjoyable, not really knowing where things are going until you get down to cases.

Though I haven't read the entire story I still want to write a review for your story. I have always loved prison fantasies and I written a story myself including this aspect, which has been uploaded this site.
I really like your story as it include a lot of the prison treatment I love. If I may suggest improvements it should be more details concerning the equipment and the treatment and more details concerning how the "poor" victims feels being treated like this. But all in all I really like the story. (9/10)

- Your generous review is much appreciated. As far as the issues you raise, I must concur in some cases, but not all. I thought there was plenty of detail in the early chapters dealing with Martha's introduction to prison life, but later on I felt it was not necessary to repeat myself. As for how the prisoners' feel about what's happening, that could be hard to do when the end result of many of them is to produce brain impairment, which is a major theme in this story. I'll be sure to read your story when it is posted.

I loved it - quick and brutal. Taking a haughty bitch down has always been one of my pet fantasies and this story certainly delivered that big-time. (9/10)

- Coming from one of the masters of the genre, I am quite pleased at this very generous review. Be advised that Martha's descent has a few more floors to go before she is returned to society, a docile and very useful member to the right kind of people, I might add.
