A pure delight to read, thanks to the almost poëtic prose and the elaborate and accurate use of synonyms.
That's what makes the difference between just 'good' and excellent: the knowledge of a language.

Very good reading. During the whole story, I was hoping that the Queen would get her's in the end. No disappointments here. (9/10)

Very nice indeed. A couple of minor quibbles -- there's a certain incongruence between the names of some of the characters and the names of the places they come from, and there is the unfortunate misspelling of the marvelously expressive word "callipygian" and a couple of other insignificant boo-boos. But this, like the author's other stories on this site, is a story vividly told with exquisite attention to the little details, both physical and psychological, that separate the good stories from the best ones.
The author has also inadvertently given me a new concept in inventory management - Justin Tom. ;-) Well done.

'An Unhappy Birthday' and 'Lady's Ashley's Penance' are superb and one might wonder how Tom Justin could do better. Well read this masterpiece of erotic corporal punishment and see how. First the story builds slowly. The aspect of anticipation is established to a greater degree in this story than the author's two previous efforts. Second, in 'A Princess's Penance', a second character (the Queen) is well developed, as is a third (Miss Simpson) and the interactions with the other relatives are stressed. This is the mark of a developing talent for character development. Third, there is a bit of a novel twist at the end in the epilogue. Finally, the erotic aspect of c.p. is brought out to a fuller degree in this story. This story is the prose equivalent of one of the greatest erotic c.p. movies of all time, the legendary 'Fairy Tale' of Lupus Pictures. <br>By far this is the best thing that Tom Justin has posted on this site.
I expect, no I demand, a Part 2 wherein Lady Isabel and her daughter Dorthy suffer chastisement at the hands of the sinister Ms. Simpson.
One nitpick. The garter belt was developed only in the late nineteenth century. In earlier times circular garters were used to hold up the hose. (10/10)

A good, old-fashioned flogging story, like the two previous posts of this fine author. Focussing on the essential points, so to speak, but offering enough of a plot to create an atmosphere that makes the story stand out against others of this genre. Vivid characterizations, elaborate dialogues and detailed descriptions prove the author's writing skills, complemented by a fine sense for the mental component of any corporal punishment. The only thing I might criticize is the author's fixation on the "milky-white mounds of the victim's luscious naked bottom" (mind you, I love them;-), while there are other erogenous zones which would deserve to be described as the lash falls upon them, especially by such an expert writer. But that's only the lecher in me... Very well done. (9/10)

Even the singular formating improves as this tale winds its way toward a surprise climax. Characters are well developed and the setting is vivid. (9/10)
